2021 Summer School Add/Drop week will be held between 26 July 2021 at 12:00 and 28 July 2021 at 23:59. During the relevant dates, courses that have been previously registered and confirmed to be opened cannot be dropped, and new registrations can only be made for the opened courses using the Add/Drop Courses menu available on the student information system.

In case of a fee difference after adding a new course, students can deposit the difference with their student number at any "Vakıfbank" ATM, branch, or via internet banking anywhere in Turkey. After depositing the fee difference, do not forget to confirm your add/drop registration by pressing the Check and Finalize buttons in the Add/Drop Courses menu respectively.

Refund transactions for courses that are not opened will be deposited into the IBAN number they have defined in the system within 15 working days at the latest after the Add/Drop dates.

Makü Students

Makü students can register for the opened courses of the program they are enrolled in from the Add/Drop Courses menu in the Student Information System.

MAKÜ students, in order to take a course that is not opened in their registered unit without losing their rights, if it is opened in another unit within the university, need to apply with the application form at https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=MAKU and need the decision of the administrative board of the unit they are registered in after the application.

MAKÜ students, provided that summer school courses are not opened in our university's faculties/schools/conservatories/vocational schools, in order to take courses from other university/universities without losing their rights, need to apply with the application form at https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=DIGER and need the decision of the administrative board of the unit they are registered in after the application.

Guest Students

Our guest students can register for all opened courses. To select courses outside the unit they are registered in at our university, they can use the Curriculum/Non-Departmental Courses screen available on the "Course Registration" screen.

Guest students who have not previously received a student number from our university must first apply for a student number at https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/summer_app/. The relevant help document for obtaining a student number is attached.
